I had each household view the menu and choose what they wanted. And because I wanted my family to be able to try each other's choices, I asked for the order be made available as one pick up so my family could get together and have fun tasting each others treats. Queen Bee’s is something akin to a religious experience.
What comes to mind when you think of gluten free desserts? For me it’s “dry.” In my experience, the gluten free flour leaves very little moisture in baked goods and gives them a gritty, displeasing texture. This is SO NOT THE CASE with gluten free treats from Queen Bee’s Kitchen. I’ve ordered two GF items so far: white chocolate chip cookies and, most recently, one of the most delicious chocolate cakes I have ever tasted. I placed both of these orders with someone else in mind as I love my gluten and, trust me when I say, I typically avoid gluten free items at all costs. I’m also a big fan of sugar (I got triple berry jam from Queen Bee’s last summer and ate it out of the jar with a spoon). The cookies were not only gluten free but also sugar free. As someone who doesn’t typically eat gluten or sugar free items, I am being 100% honest when I say that I could not even tell the difference. And the person I ordered them for said, and I quote, “I’ve never had a sugar free cookie that actually tasted like a cookie and not a pile of garbage.” He had similar positive sentiments about the cake.
After tasting the cookies, I had no reservations about ordering the cake from Queen Bee’s because I knew that it would embody the same look, texture, quality, and deliciousness of any gluten-ful sweet. I wasn’t disappointed. It was moist, chocolate-y and incredible. I wish I had taken photos of it before it was half gone (the fact that I just picked it up this afternoon and it’s already half gone speaks for itself) but I did the best I could with the remaining half
The bottom line is this: Queen Bee’s Kitchen does sweets & treats better than any other place I’ve ever been to. You’ll thank yourself (and the Queen) after you’ve finished every last bite of whatever you ordered.

A three layer chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and Reece's cups on top and in the middles frosting layers! It was a hit by the kids and adults. “I ordered a batch of Rhubarb scones and they were perfection. When the mailman delivered them I brought them straight to the kitchen and opened the box; the smell was fantastic and of course they were warm because ‘summertime in Kansas’. Between the aroma and the flavor, it was instant transportation to the outdoor seating of a European cafe. Honestly. I can’t believe I’m almost in tears over food.
