Old-Fashioned Apple Cake **

Another old-fashioned tube/bundt cake which has amazing versatility - breakfast, snack, teatime, dessert...clients have willfully eaten it for all these purposes! My grandfather’s wife was notorious for cakes like this…she’d see company coming, and would bake up one of these homestyle cakes to have ready, and we’d all sit down around the kitchen table and pause for a few moments to enjoy simple deliciousness.
