Lofty Softy Cookies **see note
You know those fluffy frosted cookies in the grocery store that seem to stay eternally fluffy? Nailed it, and without the chemicals (full disclosure, I do add one flavoring)!
My version is a soft, light sugar cookie, flavored to your tastes, that forms a light crust on the bottom and topped with a fluffy buttercream (also flavored to your tastes). These are fun, happiness, and in my humble opinion, taste better than the store bought because there’s no chemical aftertaste.
When I made the test batch, I allowed them to set out, uncovered, for 3 days just to see the result. Three days later, they were still as soft as the day I made them.
These can be custom decorated to your liking - don’t forget I’m a sprinkle junkie - or they can simply be frosted with no adornments.
They can also be customized for flavor: strawberry, coconut, vanilla (traditional), or peppermint.
This makes an absurd amount of cookies - 4 dozen - so I’m happy to half that, but I promise you, this will be GOBBLED up! When I made these, there were only 2 of us in the house, and we ate half!
The only question is: Loads of sprinkles or light sprinkles? Colorful frosting or plain? Flavored frosting or plain (vanilla)? The choices are all yours!
You’ll receive 48 frosted cookies for a full batch and 24 cookies for a half batch.

Available for local pickup or delivery. **These will ship nationwide, but the buttercream will smoosh in the shipping process and the cookies will not be overly pretty. A full batch will be shipped in 2 separate boxes and have 2 separate shipping charges.
