Here Comes the Sunshine Cookies **

Year round, we all need our daily dose of sunshine to keep us smiling. No matter the weather, no matter the season, these bright cookies will bring sunshine into your life.

What makes these cookies full of sunshine? Both the sugar and salt contain citrus and rose that make this soft sugar cookie all the more sunny, and a fantastically fun, twist on the basic sugar cookie! Then add in my own sunny citrus twists, and this cookie is a pure bundle of sunshine…just like me.

While this makes a hearty batch of 56 2” round cookies (they really aren’t that big), these will easily freeze to be on hand when you need a little sunshine in your life, or will support the dessert tray at your next gathering, or you can easily order a half batch.
