Our peaches come ripe towards the very end of summer as the days begin to get shorter and the nights steadily cooler. Yet, as everyone is beginning to get their PSLs and Fall decorations, I refuse to cave to pumpkin spice everything! Pumpkin season begins on the first day of Fall, and not a minute before!

These gorgeous Fresh Peach Scones shine in the late summer sun until our late arriving peaches are gone! Hand-picked at the perfect ripeness, these beauties are made fresh the same day. These scones are a PERFECT Summer to Fall transitional treat, as the warm spices so often associated with fall meld oh so delectably with the late summer peach!

Makes 12 fist-sized drop scones.
