There’s nothing quite like ripe summer sun-ripened strawberries! In June, I hand pick my strawberries from local farms for the peak of freshness.

These scones are only available in the summer when strawberries can be locally sourced or the market berries are ripe.

These delicate, moist Strawberry Lavender drop scones beautifully pair ripe summer strawberries with edible lavender to create an elegant, balanced flavor combination that will simply make you sigh with joy.

If you’ve never had edible lavender, don’t shy away from it. It’s nothing like the heavily perfumed soaps and lotions at your grandma’s house. When used properly, it’s a gentle presence that enhances your eating experience…aka you just became gourmet by ordering these!

These are the perfect teatime or afternoon coffee scone in the summer when you need to take a break, relax, and soak in the afternoon sun.
